Description Technical Specs

Coyote Gold D G aka Navajo Gold D. G. - Bulk Loads - 20 to 26 Tons Per Load Required For This Price
A Crushed Stone Product
Southern California quarry, shipping in bulk to Southern and Central California. SuperEarth-sacks and palleted material shipping everywhere requested.
Out of respect to the people of the Navajo Nation we do not use the other common name for this material. Some stone yards call it Coyote Gold and some the other name. Coyotes, at least in our region are not gold and the other name is down right offensive given the Navajo were about a 1,000 miles away from this quarry.
Decomposed Granite and crushed stone products are commonly used for decorative walkways, patio & outdoor living areas, planter beds, light duty driveways, water wise landscaping, dog runs and other applications. Whether for driveways, pathways, patios, utility landscape areas or to surround trees, crushed stone or decomposed granite can be a versatile material that prevents weed growth, maintain even soil moisture and makes an outdoor space more appealing.

Decomposed Granite and Crushed Stone Fines are not the same materials. Decomposed granite has a natural coarse look to it, while crushed stone products tend to be more flat and have a higher amount of fine material. Crushed stone products, granite, sandstone, limestone and others offer a greater array of natural colors to work with than most true decomposed granite materials.
D. G. Materials Per Ton
As a general rule of 3/8" or 1/4" of crushed stone or decomposed granite material will cover a little over 100 square feet of an ground area at a 2-1/2" depth.
D. G. Materials Per Yard
As a general rule 1 cubic yard of 3/8" or 1/4" of crushed stone or decomposed granite material will cover 125 square feet in a 2-1/2" inch layer. A cubic yard of moist crushed stone fines or decomposed granite material weighs more or less 3,000 pounds.

Color tones change can sometimes occur with aging or maintenance practices of the location it is installed at therefore exact matching of existing stone may not always occur.
